Sophie Mazieres passed away peacefully on her beloved Belle Ile en Mer on the morning of Sunday, 7 April 2019, aged 88 years.

Sophie's Fork'n'View began in 1969 and closed in 1986.
Sophie always maintained that '69 was a very good year to open a French Restaurant, and her phenomenal success and subsequent fame proved her right.
